All jewelry sold by the Catalina brand have a 2-year warranty against any manufacturing defect. When the customer receives the order, he must carefully check it, if the product ordered has a manufacturing defect, the customer must inform the brand by email info@catalinajewelry.pt and describe this anomaly by identifying the product ordered and sending the invoice as an attachment.

The warranty does not apply in the following cases:

- The normal wear and tear of jewelry over time (example: oxidation and the plating start to disappear / fade)

- Discoloration of the jewelry acquired by the customer due to sun exposure, humidity or contact of the jewelry with water

- Discoloration of the piece due to exposure to chemicals, make-up, perfumes or sweat

- Marks of use (example: scratches)

- Damage / defects caused by misuse, abuse or negligence

- Loss of stones, springs, clasps or other element that is part of the piece

- If the part was repaired or altered by an external entity other than Catalina

The customer must take care, clean and preserve the product properly, the brand is not responsible if this does not happen and the jewelry is damaged. The loss or theft of the purchased jewelry is also not included in the warranty.

If the customer wants to know the price of a repair that is not covered by the warranty, can send an email to info@catalinajewelry.pt.

The customer must send the jewelry by registered mail or through a carrier. After receipt of the jewelry by us, it will be analyzed and, if the defect is proven that is under the warranty, the jewelry will be repaired or replaced, without any additional cost. If the repair of the jewelry is not covered by the warranty, the customer will be contacted via email to find out if intends to proceed with the repair of the jewelry, with the costs of repair and shipping borne by the costumer.

Jewelry pieces can preserve their beauty for years, but for that to happen they must be treated with delicacy and special care must be taken, which can be consulted in the area of ​​Product Care.

The gold plating or any other plating comes out over time, so the costumer has to be more careful with jewelry plating for the plating to remain as long as possible. If you follow the advice that we give in the section of the website “Product Care” or on the paper “Jewelry Care” delivered with the order, the plating of your jewelry will last a long time.
